The company was founded in June 2005 as a subsidiary of Urbanhive Enterprises Limited with the main focus of providing world-class affordable multi-modal communication platforms for both individuals and organisations in Ghana and beyond.

With its own International SMS* Access Gateway based on varied internet technologies and a highly certified systems development team SMSGH provides world-class Computer-Mobile Device (and vice versa) solutions, software, intranet and internet portal developments.
