SMSGH pays out royalties on mobile content services running on Premium Rate Short Codes as captured in our Royalty Payout Table available in our Terms of Business documentation.
Revenue payout are calculated with the following considerations;

All payouts excludes percentage revenue retained by mobile networks; MTN – 65%, Tigo – 65%, Expresso – 50%, Airtel – 50% and Vodafone – 50%.

All payout rates excludes deducted 15% VAT/NHIL, 6% Communication Service Tax and 5% IRS Witholding Tax.

Royalty payouts are arrived at after Government Taxes and Network Operator Share deductions as well as SMSGH Data Services and Aggregator Fees have been applied.

Royalty payouts from Tigo and MTN are indicative, and may increase based on revenue volumes generated.

Royalty payouts are made exclusive of VAT in Ghana Cedi in payment cycles of not less than 90 days

If the value owed to any campaign is less than GH¢200.00 for any billing peroid, it will be rolled over to the next billing period

Royalty payout on each tarrif is per every 1 SMS message received and billed successfully by the carrier network on the short code.

Royalty payouts are negotiable for short code traffic above 200,000 incoming SMS messages in a month.

SMSGH honours royalty payouts only after payment has been received from the carrier network.

An authorization letter may be required from the Ghana Gaming Commission to run raffle competitions.
